I've been reading the Iron Fey series and oh my god they're amazing. Just started the fourth book and wow. I have to say, the beginning is very shocking. :) The Iron King, The Iron Daughter, The Iron Queen, and then The Iron Knight. From what I understand there is also a fifth book but I'm unaware of what is called. :)
Life can be hell. You get through it. I have. Or at least I'm trying.

Travels with Charley in Search of America. I had to read Steinbeck once in high school and really enjoyed it; returning to him five years later, I'm glad I still do.

'Finders Keepers' the second novel in the 'Mr Mercedes' crime trilogy by Stephen King, I love it, he manages to write great crime fiction that leaves you wanting more like his horror :keke:

I just finished I Was Doctor Mengele's Assistant, by Miklós Nyiszli, earlier this evening and am still digesting it. Absolutely fascinating (and stomach-turning) testimony of his time in Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Up next is The Town and the City, by Jack Kerouac.

How topical that you should have posted about such a book right now Zach. I dare say there are a number of our peers who would do well to read up on that book as well

Well it's not exactly a book 'of the moment' but yesterday I pre-ordered a copy of Harper Lee's Go Set a Watchman that is due for release on the 14th of next month. It's kinda strange - I don't ever remember being 'excited' about a book release before... :D

I'm actually rather afraid about this book because To kill a Mockingbird was such a powerful piece of literature that in my eyes Harper Lee is untarnished. However, this new book may challenge that. I'd love to know how you feel about it after you read it.

I'm starting on the first book in A Song of Ice and Fire, I decided it would be a good idea to read the books while I watch the show. :3
