The social network

Yes. I have finally seen the movie that was "in" years ago. I was expecting to hate it. But I actually really liked it. It was funny and interesting. Of course it's dramatized reality mixed with fiction. But in the end I actually started liking Zuckerberg. Which is something that I never thought I was going to say. Of course I never really hated him. I am just not a big fan of his creation.

I think it's kind of funny. I started liking a guy that was presented as being eccentric and arrogant. Seems like those qualities mixed with hidden emotions are quite appealing to me. Though you could classify me as eccentric and arrogant as well.

Plus - hot guys.

It's high time I start posting here, considering the amount of movies I go through. So, to hit it off, a grand masterpiece and my definitive all time favourite:

Image

Kidding, naturally. I'll hit it with my actual all time favorite and latest watch (for the 800th time), La Vita E Bella. The de facto only movie about the Holocaust, in which everyone worthwhile dies, and you're still left with a staggering sense of warmth in the end. Roberto Benigni plays so magnificently - without much surprise - and so naturally you realize that he always was the personification of Guido. Check his stellar Oscar speech for proof. You'll be hard pressed to find a movie that so amazingly encompasses its own name and message. It's been 16 years since I first saw it, and I'll continue watching it until the day I die. Perhaps not the very best to come out of Italy, but it's soaring up there among the greats.

In case you're incapable of reading pictures, we're talking Children of Men. God fucking damn, son. In a not-so-distant dystopian future (2027, actually. Doesn't look too nice), the world's ravaged by the aftermath of 18 years of worldwide infertility. Basically, everyone turned gay and god smited them all. Anyway, this dude who looks eerily a lot like an adult Russell when he drives, gets into some heavy shit and has to deal with hitting, shooting, a bunch of blood and to top it off he's sent off to fucking Sussex. Sussex's full of people screaming Allahu Ackbar, so that's pretty cool. But most importantly, Michael Caine is an old stoner who grows weed with strawberry taste and has a wife in a kickass wheelchair. Spoiler: The wife's, Janice, lines must be the best in all of Britain's film history. Oh, and Janice Moore actually looks like she can act. For an actual Sci-Fi movie that isn't vicious space-aliens attacking USA or humans (often US) waddling around on a moon in Fuckoffgalaxy XI029, it's a spectacular movie. Last, but definitely not least, Michael Caine is a fucking stoner.

If you're going to watch a movie tonight, make sure it's this one. You really cannot go wrong.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

This is by far my favourite Marvel film. Cap and Nat's dynamic is excellent, the plot is clever. The Russos did a wonderful job on this one.

Good bye, Lenin!

I love this film so much - I can't believe I forgot to put it as a favourite on my introduction post smh.

It's funny and sweet and has wonderfully endearing music.

It's one of those things that I like to go back to every now and again just for its comforting-ness.

10/10 would recommend (it's pretty easy to find a stream with subtitles on)

The conjuring 2The conjuring 2
Saw it in the movies yesterday. If you get scared real quick like I am it will be a terrifyingly good movie. There are loads of jumpscares and I found it even scarier then it's prequel. The story is loosely based on a real story which makes it a little more frightening. If you like high quality horror movies i really recommend this movie.
I'd give it a 9/10

I just watched Fight Club the other day. It was amazing. I'd give it a 9/10. Everything about it was excellent! The Nazi murderer was a badass, and the matrix-like close up speed shot thingies fit nicely. However, I watched Mr. Robot first.

I feel life suing Mr.Robot for infringing on intellectual property.

I just saw Me Before You :weep: :weep: :weep: Ugh I'm literally a disgusting animal. I sobbed so much that I got makeup and snot all over my clothes and face :rip: I cried like 20 minutes into the movie because I have a problem :weep: But it was such a good movie :weep: :weep: :weep: I didn't know it was going to be that sad. It was so embarrassing sobbing so much in a public setting :rip:

I just watched Spotlight (2015) which is a movie about the Boston Globe investigating and publishing an exposé on the coverup and extent of child molestation by Catholic Church— particularly in Boston, in 2002. The end of the movie shows that there is an estimate of around 1,000 victims in Boston alone. I have seen documentaries on the vatican's scandals that are of giant scopes and it really makes you wonder how such an institution is still in existence after all the horrors it committed.

Went to see Finding Dory with my brother today. It wasn't a masterpiece, but it did make me laugh on several occasions. The characters were really unique. I'd give it a 7/10 and I recommend everyone go see it at the movie theater.
