New theme available for testing - update

Hey GTF!

Our new theme, Quarto, is now available in the UCP for those who want to give it a try. You can choose from 10 variants with different colour schemes, to which we will eventually be adding an 11th which will become the default for guests and new users.

It should be especially useful for people using phones and other devices with small screens.

Note that not every feature has been implemented yet, and some that are there (like the House Cup) obviously have quite a bit of work left to be done on them to make them actually fit in and be responsive like the rest of the theme, but it should work well for most purposes.

If you come across anything that's there but not working properly and no one's mentioned it here yet, please feel free to make a post and let me know.

(There's no need to write about things like user-group colours not looking right against background colours in different colour schemes; I'm aware there's a lot of tinkering to be done to make stuff like that fit together.)

I'll be using Quarto Asphalt for now :D

P.S. Sorry for the wait! Work's been really busy the past few months.

Remember this is only a Beta version so please post anything you notice isn't there of that you'd like added in this thread and we'll (well René will...) have a look at what we can do. :keke:

Urgh, I will keep using the traiditional theme. I don't really like the new theme at all even tho it's beta. As of now, I strongly dislike the design. It feels very dull and boring. I will however change once it's fully complete in hopes of improvement.

Posting on this new site. Kinda going to take some being used to. Wasn't aware that there were a Save Draft function, could be very useful.

Sidenote: Amazon is UGLY. :rip:

Sidenote 2: I also like how it let you know someone else posted.

Sidenote 3: I don't like how the signature are blended together. Edit: Nvm, it's a very faint line :skull:

I'd urge everyone to give it a few days, even if you do dislike it - of course it's going to feel weird at first. :keke:

Doesn't tell you from the home page which specific topic someone's posted in. Only that they have posted. Using Quarto Dark Cyan.

This is one of the things that irritated me most about GFO. Turns out apparently this is a customisation that Rene wrote himself, which I do believe he would intend on updating. :)

Also of note it's kinda annoying scrolling through Discussion's Active Topic and passing all the pinned topics although they're labeled.

Few things I've noticed:

- I can't see a "User's Thread List" on a user's profile.
- It is a little annoying having to go back to the homepage in order to search by active topics: perhaps a little icon in the top right (next to the wheel) would look stylish, failing that, having something under "Advanced Search" at the top.
- Next to where a thread is listed, you have "replies" and "views" that thread has. You use to be able to click the replies number and see how many each user has (it was very handy for finding posts :D)
