That being said I like most of the games you've listed. lol, Halo had been hotly anticipated even back when it was a Mac-only exclusive. PS3 sales were initially awful because there were, almost literally, no games for it when it came out. Also it was ridiculously overpriced and alienating to casual gamers. Nintendo wiped the floor with Sony and Microsoft this generation and they are lined up to do it again appealing to casual gamers as well as titles that appease hardcore nintendo fans, they have found their audience after stumbling with the GCN and neither Microsoft nor Sony are trying that hard to court it away from them. Also PSP Vita will flop as hard as the PSP which nobody wanted, cared about or bought. 3DS will continue to be the ultimate handheld until Nintendo launches a new one. I really hope PSV doesn't flop. It's got some really good looking games on it as well as quite simply being more powerful the the 3DS. I'll end up getting both anyway because there are too many games on both of them that I want to play Handhelds FTW Comparing them at base, it seems like the PSVita has a lot more going for it. I mean, the 3DS is just shoddy moneygrubbing design gimmicks piled on top of each other. However, the thing that will lose the Vita the war entirely is this whole lack of North American Passport program - you know, the one that lets you register your old UMD games and allows you to buy them in digital format for a massive discount. Sony basically wants people to buy everything again.

Just from the trailers the mage class seems like one of the best mage classes out there. Although graphics-wise it looks kind of bad. Would've expected a lot better from all the big names that are on the production team.

I used to play a cute little mmorpg called Maplestory. It was fun to chat with other friends, but the maturity of the game was a little too low, so I quit I occasionally play Elder Scrolls, Sims 3, Starcraft 2, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Dragon Age.... and the list goes on. So basically PC games I find it hard to use a controller of any sort. Keyboard ftw!

If you haven't played the DS (and now iPhone) game Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, you should. It's AWESOME.

haven't been playing it very enthusiastically since the camera gives me a headache but the music is lovely, the visuals are just beautiful and the cast of characters all seem really well written and played so i'll keep at it

I'm 10 hours game time and only level 5 (max is 40), so I think it's rather large or I'm just slow because I talk to everyone and read everything It's pretty good, I'd say get it if you have the spare monies!

MASS EFFECT MASS EFFECT MASS EFFECT MASS EFFECT MASS EFFECT!!!!!!
Best series ever. I'm going to orgasm when the 3rd one comes out. I've decided I'm going to go to the store at midnight to buy it. If they don't have it on the shelves I'll demand they get it out of storage.

nah, i don't keep up with the gaming world much anymore but I'd be interested enough in it so long as Tim Schafer is behind it again. You ever play the old PC game Grim Fandango? Man has a fantastic legacy
as far as sequels go I'm dying to see Timesplitters 4. That series is godly

knukleslt wrote: Koon wrote: I LOVE YOU!!! Has anyone tried Kingdoms Of Amalur. Reckoning? I would love to hear an opinion Yes, I tried it (the demo) and it was awful. Played like a bad middle of last gen Xbox game ran through a thin coat of current gen paint. It would have been pretty good, had it come out 5 years ago on the original Xbox, not this generation on the 360. Overall it just felt dated, and felt like a bad mishmash of RPG's over the last 5 years. A bit of Oblivion here, a bit of Mass Effect there, a bit of Fable (very reminiscent of Fable).

They went on kickstarter for funding and raised a million in a day. Also Obsidian Entertainment are thinking about doing another 'old school' rpg after DF's success. P.s new Far Cry 3 trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6gnOVJs ... _embedded#!
