But there is one major change that seems to be stuck... new theme? When are we making it default? What about the logo for it?

There has been quite a bit behind-the-scenes talk in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully over the next month it should be the default, and I think we're then having a logo competition that will be voted on.

Yeah, it does, I mass upload a lot :s

It's literally the same as it would be anywhere else, select multiple pictures then click upload...

I'll try with more effort in the near future.

How much control over the new skins can you have
I don't wanna be a debbie downer or anything but theres not much eye popping color really
can you change the code for it in any way to give more skin options maybe?

I changed some colors myself in chrome so it looks different for me and was curious if it was possible to do it for everyone

Here is my bamboo theme

and here is just a lighter blue

Maybe craving some watermelon?

We could make any number of custom colour schemes. I like your lighter blue one! :keke:

Would you like to let me know all the colours you changed and what you changed them to to make that one and your watermelon one?

Do you have a name for the lighter blue one also?

I'd be happy to add those two as options.

I pretty much used the original skins and just changed a couple things
so theres barely any code if it's confusing though just let me know
also feel free to fix any mistakes i made lmfao

I like the name Frostbite for the blue one lmfao but the name doesnt really matter to me that much
I basically used asphalt light with these changes

#1e90ff is the blue for the headers
#fff is the white for some icons and for some header words and the search bar block whiteness
the code was just this

.navbar-main-nav {
background-color: #1e90ff;
border-bottom: 5px solid #1e3449;
height: 60px;
margin: -20px -20px 0;
}

.block-header {
background-color: #1e90ff;
color: #fff;
font-size: 1.077em;
line-height: 50px;
padding-left: 20px;
}

ul.topiclist li.header {
background-color: #1e90ff;
}

.navbar-main-nav ul.linklist.leftside [class^="icon-quarto"]::before, .navbar-main-nav ul.linklist.not-logged-in [class^="icon-quarto"]::before {
color: #fff;
font-size: 13px;
margin-right: 5px;
}

.navbar-main-nav ul.linklist.rightside > li > a > [class^="icon-quarto"]::before {
color: #fff;
font-size: 26px;
}

#search-box button.button2 {
background-color: #fff;
border: 0 none;
cursor: pointer;
float: right;
height: 46px;
width: 46px;
}

#footer #footer-links {
color: #fff;
}

#footer {
background-color: #1e90ff;
margin: 0 -20px -20px;
}

#footer-inner {
border-top: 5px solid #1e90ff;
margin: 0 auto;
}

li.header dt, li.header dd {
color: #fff;
}

For the watermelon one I used the Amazon light skin and the codes are

#db6161 for the Pink headers and the bar under the selected page
#ad3838 for the darker pink for whatever the selected page square is
#157241 For the green background
#fff for some font and icons again
and the code i used it slike

.navbar-main-nav {
background-color: #db6161;
border-bottom: 5px solid #09331c;
height: 60px;
margin: -20px -20px 0;
}

.block-header {
background-color: #db6161;
color: #fff;
font-size: 1.077em;
line-height: 50px;
padding-left: 20px;
}

ul.topiclist li.header {
background-color: #db6161;
}

.navbar-main-nav ul.linklist.leftside [class^="icon-quarto"]::before, .navbar-main-nav ul.linklist.not-logged-in [class^="icon-quarto"]::before {
color: #fff;
font-size: 13px;
margin-right: 5px;
}

.navbar-main-nav ul.linklist.rightside > li > a > [class^="icon-quarto"]::before {
color: #fff;
font-size: 26px;
}

#search-box button.button2 {
background-color: #fff;
border: 0 none;
cursor: pointer;
float: right;
height: 46px;
width: 46px;
}

#footer #footer-links {
color: #fff;
}

#footer {
background-color: #db6161;
margin: 0 -20px -20px;
}

#footer-inner {
border-top: 5px solid #db6161;
margin: 0 auto;
}

li.header dt, li.header dd {
color: #fff;
}

.navbar-main-nav ul.linklist.leftside > li.active a {
background-color: #ad3838;
border-bottom: 5px solid #db6161;
}

html, body {
background-color: #157241;
color: #000;
}

I mean, if this is just me I'll happily put the bamboo one up too :D I just want to make sure there aren't any legibility issues for a person with average vision.

For now, Quarto Frostbite and Quarto Watermelon are up! Click here to jump straight to the preferences page to try them out.

I made a few adjustments to improve legibility under some circumstances.

Kyler, if you come across anything else you'd like to change to them later, just let me know.

looks good
for the blue skin though
might have to change the font on the header to white inside of the forums

like when you enter the actual forum like if you click anything goes the header fonts are still dark

I can read it just fine, but maybe that's just me tho, perhaps a little more greyscale could improve legibility?

I just like it as it's very playful and fresh compared to the other themes.
