I do like this idea. And perhaps fields should be hidden if they have no info. I don't use any of the IM protocols anymore (Steam isn't an option, and I don't want to give out my facebook here). So it's just empty.

If that makes sense ? Click on the small arrow next to the username under the thread title and it will bring you to the most recent post in that thread. Oh right, thank you. I'm so stupid.

I just went through a few of the ID threads, and I still strongly believe that there needs to be a better screening process on who can submit threads there. Many of the responses are also not intellectual, going off nothing and in some just short one line responses, which seem much like post whoring. Maybe before a thread is submitted to the sub-forum, a mod should review it first? Just a suggestion.
Also I still am adamant on a better chat.

I would support this. Many of the threads that get put into ID don't actually have any business there. Getting people to stop giving un-researched one-line opinion replies will be more of a problem, I think . Quote: Also I still am adamant on a better chat.
You have two options, then . 1) Pony up the money to buy a better one. It's a pretty costly thing . I'm sure you could have a bake sale to try and raise the funds . 2) Poke Mono in the butt and tell him to hurry up. This has been tried with limited success in the past, so good luck! PS - I love your signature . That picture of all of you is super cute.

Seems to be working. Intermittent freezes over the past 12 hours, with about 100 in total and around 80 in the past 8 hours, the latter being no more than 10 minutes apart save one or two exceptions with the shortest interval being just over 40 seconds.

I would just like to give AB/FP a heads up on this, but this appeared across my screen as soon as I logged in (between logging in and seeing the "redirect" to homepage screen) here: I've also taken down its URL in case you want it:

I think the word 'make' should be switched out with 'keep'.

I think the word 'make' should be switched out with 'keep'. The reason we have the chat that we do right now is that it is the best we could find from all of our searching - the only one that fit most of our criteria. What Mono is doing is reverse engineering a number of different technologies and patching them together into a functioning starship. We've got life support and sublight engines, but it will be some time before it'll be combat-ready. It's exacerbated by the fact that he is working alone. But it doesn't help that nobody else is really up to his skill level.

Why don't you hold a fundraiser of some kind to help siphon funds from the members >:D I'm sure if the idea was interesting enough people would participate. I mean this forum has helped a lot of people, and I'm sure at least some of them would like to give back? Just sayin'...

Maybe an easier way to go to you profile? Like your full profile. Or is there already one?

See that button on the comment you just made, which says 'profile'. Try clicking it.
Although I do still agree that clicking your avatar at the top right hand side of the page should redirect you there, it has already been brought up on numerous occasions.

Be patient! That was the original plan when we put the avatar and username up there, but it didn't work. René's since made it work, and it'll become available in the impending megaupdate.

Dont like the change, feels weird. Oh dear, I hope theres not a major change to the forum layout coming up, its so nice and easy to use as is. No need to be like facebook changing it for the sake of it......

Regarding post counts:
We're going to work on how post-counts are represented in profiles. For example, we may have two post-count totals listed in profiles — one including Wasteland posts and one excluding Wasteland posts. However, the post count listed under your avatars next to posts and in the member list will remain as it is now: excluding posts in the Wasteland.

Can we get even crazier with post count? I mean, this is completely a shot in the dark, and probably unimplementable, but it would be interesting to be able to specify posts that don't count towards your total. I have several thousand that I would mark as such.
