This is like the best show ever. I mean, what's not there to like? Q: Anybody watched/watching DW from the past century?

"Who killed all the Daleks?" Spoilers sweetie? Hope that's not the end of an episode, would be rather pointless if it is, that would be a hell of an opening though.

The question you've been running from all your life? -integerDW, you cannot ask about the older Doctor Who episodes and then not get it when I make very blatant references to the older Doctor Who episodes. That's just silly.

Troughton and T.Baker had their moments too, but it's never anything I'd want to rewatch, and I've not enjoyed any of the others at all really. I found it very difficult to get into Classic Who because of the obvious "60's/70's/80's-ness" of it (wobbly sets, wooden guest acting, rubber monsters, terrible CGI,etc). But eventually I reached a point where I could look past the surface and start to love the insane creativity and humour and adventure of each story - now I like it almost as much as New Who, sometimes even more

Classic Doctor Who is difficult to watch, it just hasn't aged very well, and I don't think its anything to be ashamed off as a Whovian to admit that though - doesn't make you more or less of a fan.

I can more than happily watch a film or a show that has the wobbly sets, or the awful effects, or even sometimes the bad acting. But I just really struggled to get into Classic Doctor Who, particularly the later incarnations. I admire the creativity behind it, but for whatever reason I just can't enjoy it as I'd hoped I could. I guess the show is all about ups and downs, and about change. Some elements have aged well whilst others haven't, and some have changed completely

Not happy with the return of the weeping angels. I think part of why they were so scary with 10 is because we'd never seen them before and it was a new, creepy concept. The way they keep on bringing them back is just making something that had the potential to be forever in the nightmares of kids (and myself) into another monster that gets less scary every time they show it *ahem* daleks *ahem*. BOO YOU MOFFAT. BOO YOU. /rant

I kinda agree, I like the angels but I'm not sure if they should be escalated past their ability in their premier episode for a while at least. Bring back the time displacement, remove the killing and maybe the time after that they won't need to strap nukes onto themselves to remain scary.

You don't have a psychological enemy when you get rid of the side you leave to the mind.
