In Denmark the genera you will properly have a hard time if you only live of social welfare, if you even can get any. But if you support yourself then you'll be widely accepted. Many of turkish heritage here have a hard time getting their s**** together according to most here, but if you do fine by yourself and learn danish you will be welcomed. Erdogan is deeply worrying for many here as he's widely regarded as a dictator here following the last years 'incident' and speeches. Many Danes have been to turkey on vacation and have enjoyed it there.
I don't think you look that Turkish so you will properly have it easier and your are good looking too, so. Also being gay here is widely accepted among the youth and also many others. There is multiple politicians and famous here openly gay, who aren't looked down upon just for that reason.

You should do another coup d'état against Erdoğan.

You're cute, so I guess the Turks aren't all that bad.

Personally, I don't hold any particular grudge against turks. Of course there are people who do, but not only of turkish people but every immigrant. This people are almost everywhere, but that doesn't mean you'll get in direct contact with them. Also, Turkey is a beautiful country and I would love to visit someday.

I've been to Turkey twice (albeit on holiday) and found everyone really quite pleasant, and so was the country. Turkish guys are pretty hot.

But yeah, Erdogan seems like an idiot.

Welcome to the forum, by the way - feel free to make an intro thread :keke:

Well, from where I come from (Eastern Europe) people generally dislike the Turkish, but not only, all the muslim communities. This is generalising of course, as there are many people culturally open too. You will find more of them in the Western Europe though, as people there usually seem more tolerant.

As for my personal opinion, I have never been to Turkey and thus not hold any defined opinion. I've met quite a few Turkish men though and from what I've seen, they were:

A) hot :awesome:
B) very polite and kind :)
