I'd like biological kids. I'm bisexual so ideally if I were in a straight marriage I could have kids that way. If I was partnered or married with a guy then I'd be open to either invitro fertilization, or adoption. I'd personally like to have my own family, and settle down eventually regardless of who my future partner's sex may be. The downside is I'm the only son in my family, so I'm the only person who can carry the family name so I'm pretty sure my parents would try to pressure me to have kids. I'm still not out to my parents because of their religious beliefs so that certainly complicates things.

I will be with the scientists, in the lab, for every step of my child's development and modification.

I don't want children, period. I know i'm too selfish to have them and I wouldn't like the responsibility.

Children don't exist. Sentient adults just sprout out of the ground or something.

srsly tho, I don't like kids. I don't have the patience.

I know I want to have kids one day, and that will be something I will definitely need to make sure that I'm on the same page with my future husband about. That being said, I don't really have a preference on whether the kids are biologically mine or not.

Well, thanks to Ethan for indirectly showing me this thread :keke:

Having the chance to raise kids is probably my biggest dream. It's probably the only responsibility I would look forward to willingly take. It's not that I only love kids - I know people who can get along with kids easier and faster than me. It's more about the unique relationship between a parent and a child that I adore and admire the most. I don't have the best relationship with my father nor my mother, and it is too late to correct them; but I saw the flaws they contain.
I don't think there would be anything more self-satisfying and relieving than seeing the baby you raised and went through all their life phases with grow to be a successful adult. :english: One of my hugest fears would be ending up to be a failure of a father. It probably makes me more afraid and makes me overthink more than failing school or getting rejected (by family, friends, etc.).
I know raising a kid would be a huge challenge for me in the future. It's not about playing with them or singing for them - it's so much more, much more that I want to share with hopefully a little girl. :wtc:
I'd rather be a single father, to be honest. As adorable as relationships and weddings may be, I don't think there's anyone who would find someone who dreams of raising kids before finishing their education sane enough. It actually sounds creepy...
And no, not biologically. A LOT of kids are orphans who would crave later on for a home to come back to. I know adoption can be pretty expensive and challenging for a single parent, but as I will never be able to have a driving license <=> no car (I know, bummer), I intend to save my money for that! I don't really want to create another human being inheriting my traits :pukey:

This 1000 times! For the longest time I was adamant that my children should have to be biological, but at the end of the day, I'd rather give a child who was left by their parents a second chance, so they could see something good in the world. I wouldn't care what aged child I adopted, they could be months old to 14+, every person should have a chance to thrive once they are brought into this world
I'll find some real nice thing for my signature one day..

I definitely want kids eventually. But it would be hard to juggle a family with a senior Cabinet position

I really, really want to have children who are a biological mine. I do not think I would have the same emotional attachment if I adopt.

I feel mega emotional attachment to my cat who isn't biological related. Can't imagine raising a kid, biological or not, and thinking "uhh I have no emotional attachment to you because we've got different DNA!"

I could have sworn I posted in this thread last year but I guess not :dunno:
Yeah I definitely want kids and 100% do not want them to be biological. There's enough parent-less children out there as everyone's already said and of course I wouldn't want to risk the low IQ and genetic predisposition to crime!
